Vincent Nicholas leads CHOC’s Real Estate Development team, driving new acquisitions and shaping opportunities across emerging and established markets. Based in Palm Springs, he oversees projects from early development through construction, ensuring each community advances with strong momentum and consistent support. With 25+ years in real estate development and construction management, Vincent brings a rare breadth of experience—from national luxury hotel developments to mission-driven affordable housing. Since 2008, he has been deeply engaged in the affordable housing sector, applying his industry expertise to accelerate CHOC’s pipeline and elevate project delivery across our service area.

Feliciano Vera leads CHOC’s real estate finance strategy, structuring capital solutions that scale affordable housing across California. With 20+ years in development and finance, he has delivered 700+ units and over $500M in construction valuation, guiding projects from acquisition through full-cycle delivery.

Previously President, California Region at Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), Feliciano built statewide partnerships and deployed capital to expand opportunity for underserved communities—experience that strengthens CHOC’s mission-driven financing and cross-sector collaboration today.

Feliciano holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and brings a policy-informed, equity-focused approach to community development.

Mehmet Alademir joined CHOC in 2023 as a Project Manager, bringing over 15 years of professional design experience and a background in architecture spanning more than two decades. He is a California Registered Architect with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture.

Mehmet has contributed to a range of projects in San Francisco, including public schools, residential, commercial, and multifamily housing, with the past decade focused on affordable housing and work with nonprofit organizations. He brings a strong combination of design, technical, and project management expertise to support community-oriented housing solutions.

He is also an active member of the community, volunteering his architectural expertise for Mission District neighborhood festivals and serving on the board of the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District.

Sachin Yadav brings over 15 years of global and local expertise in large-scale housing and mixed-use development to the CHOC real estate development team. Combining development background with a rigorous focus on real estate finance, Sachin plays a vital role in advancing CHOC’s mission-driven pipeline across California. He holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from India and a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED+D) from UC Berkeley. Sachin also earned a Certificate in Affordable Housing Development Finance from LISC’s Housing Development Training Institute (HDTI), specializing in the complexities of the California market. Currently, Sachin is furthering his leadership and financial expertise as an MBA candidate at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. This unique blend of "on-the-ground" operational experience and advanced strategic training allows him to navigate complex entitlements, master planning, and capital stacks to deliver high-impact, equitable communities for CHOC’s residents.

Veronica Platt joined CHOC in 2023 and quickly became an essential part of our Palm Springs team, supporting the management of all Southern California construction projects. Working closely with Joy Silver and Vincent Nicholas, Veronica keeps our regional pipeline moving with precision and momentum. She is also responsible for coordinating real estate development documentation, managing filings, and overseeing key office administration functions—ensuring our projects stay organized, compliant, and on track from day one.
