Feliciano Vera leads CHOC’s real estate finance strategy, structuring capital solutions that scale affordable housing across California. With 20+ years in development and finance, he has delivered 700+ units and over $500M in construction valuation, guiding projects from acquisition through full-cycle delivery.
Previously President, California Region at Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), Feliciano built statewide partnerships and deployed capital to expand opportunity for underserved communities—experience that strengthens CHOC’s mission-driven financing and cross-sector collaboration today.
Feliciano holds an A.B. in Government from Harvard University and brings a policy-informed, equity-focused approach to community development.
Vincent Nicholas, VP, Real Estate Development
Vincent Nicholas leads CHOC’s Real Estate Development team, driving new acquisitions and shaping opportunities across emerging and established markets. Based in Palm Springs, he oversees projects from early development through construction, ensuring each community advances with strong momentum and consistent support. With 25+ years in real estate development and construction management, Vincent brings a rare breadth of experience—from national luxury hotel developments to mission-driven affordable housing. Since 2008, he has been deeply engaged in the affordable housing sector, applying his industry expertise to accelerate CHOC’s pipeline and elevate project delivery across our service area.
Mehmet Alademir, Project Manager
Mehmet joined CHOC in 2023 as a Project Coordinator, bringing a decade of hands-on design and project experience to our growing team. Before entering development, he spent ten years as a San Francisco–based project designer, contributing to public schools, high-end residential projects, commercial spaces, and multifamily affordable housing—including key work with another mission-driven developer. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture, Mehmet pairs creative vision with technical expertise, advancing projects with precision, momentum, and a strong understanding of how thoughtful design enhances community impact.
Veronica Platt, Project Coordinator, Southern California
Veronica Platt joined CHOC in 2023 and quickly became an essential part of our Palm Springs team, supporting the management of all Southern California construction projects. Working closely with Joy Silver and Vincent Nicholas, Veronica keeps our regional pipeline moving with precision and momentum. She is also responsible for coordinating real estate development documentation, managing filings, and overseeing key office administration functions—ensuring our projects stay organized, compliant, and on track from day one.
