CANDY KRAFT, Compliance Manager,
SUSAN SLOVER,
Resident Services Program Manager, created the new Resident Services
Program at CHOC. She has a Master of Social Work degree with a
background in mental health, counseling, and community organizing.
Years of volunteering with local youth groups and community service
agencies have given her an understanding of the diverse needs and
challenges in improving the quality of life that many of the residents
of low income housing face. Ms. Slover's commitment to "services-enriched
housing" and her desire to supervise Social Work Field Students for the
Social Work Program at CSUS have enabled the new program to have
on-site Resident Services Coordinators. Ms. Slover lives west of Woodland
on one acre with her husband of 25 years, two teenagers, and an
assortment of animals.
